This is just a few things to start the journey. Explore and get curious, there is so much out there to learn!
School started me learning C++ as a first language. Some colleges start with Python. It is also helpful to know some of Java. Java is different than JavaScript! Look this one up.
Languages or tools learned so far: C++, HTML and CSS (not real languages BTW), C#, Java, Javascript, PHP, React, Springboot, maven, AWS and OCI cloud, SQL, Node.js, Groovy, Postman, SoapUI, Jest testing framework, Rest APIs, GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Drools, APEX and probably a few more I am not thinking of right now.
There are so many videos out there that show how to do anything. Be specific in what you search for and hope to find one that is helpful. Learning how to code and set up development environments is challenging. It takes a lot of commitment, detail and perseverance. Also, there are a lot of videos that get out of date or are hard to follow completely, keep trying anyway because it is still learning about it. Don't be afraid to find places in communities to ask questions. Sometimes it is easier to read the documentation or a PDF instead, it depends on the circumstance. Learn to become a creative problem solver.
Learn to look for and read DOCUMENTATION for everything.
Learn how to make better Google prompts to search for what you want.
Look for information on web pages for videos, community spaces, learning and career items.
Different kinds of development take different set ups, just Goolge to find how to set up one.
Remember, so much of development is trial and error. Keep it up!
Learn about MicroServices, those are popular and used in a lot of ways. There is a lot out there.
